Highland Park - St. John's
Our SW Rochester center is located on the St. John’s nursing home campus. Child care and elder care are brought together each week so classrooms get to experience intergenerational programming with residents of the nursing home.
Located next to The Highland Botanical Park, children have the opportunity of exploring nature at it’s best. The Lamberton Conservatory is within easy walking distance of our center- a perk we often take advantage of.

Emily Henning
My name is Emily Henning, and I am the Site Director at our St. Johns campus, located next to beautiful Highland Park! I join Generations with over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. In 2002, I earned my BS in Secondary Education from SUNY Oswego. I began my career by co-teaching UPK, then led my own Preschool and School-Age classrooms and finally transitioned into directing. I love this role as it allows me to develop and foster relationships with every family we serve.
I live in Palmyra with my husband and our three children. We are Disney enthusiasts-planning as many trips to see the mouse as we possibly can!
