Katie Champion
My name is Katie Champion, and I am the Site Director at our Generations Irondequoit location. Originally from Syracuse, NY, I moved to Rochester to pursue my college education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from The College at Brockport in Arts for Children, along with minors in Music and Special Education.
I began my career as a Toddler teacher and advanced through Preschool and Pre-K before moving into leadership roles as an Assistant Director and Director. Over the past 18 years, I have had the opportunity to lead and support multiple locations, including Care-A-Lot of Pittsford, Generations Clinton Square, CAL Fairport, and SACC programs. I am proud to bring my experience and passion for early childhood education to the Irondequoit community.
I believe strong relationships with families and staff are the foundation of a successful program, and I look forward to a positive and successful school year together.
