Our Gates Child Care Center first opened its doors in 1993 and moved to its current location in 2008. The center is not only spacious and open, but enjoys multiple outdoor spaces and playgrounds as well. The large outdoor space makes spending summers at this location exciting. Our Gates center is particularly unique because in addition to child care, we have our elder care at this facility as well! Children can walk down the hall to visit with the grandmas and grandpas and we often incorporate intergenerational activities into our schedule. Gates is located at the Former Washington Irving Elementary School.
For children within the Gates-Chili School District, Generations offers a free Universal Pre-K Program.

I am an experienced early childhood education leader with over 20 years of combined experience in education, operations, and staff development. I currently serve as the Site Director at Generations Child Care Center in Gates, where I oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff performance, enrollment, and family engagement across multiple classrooms and age groups.
I bring a strong background in curriculum design, behavior management, and inclusive practices, paired with a detail-oriented, compliance-focused approach to leadership. My experience includes managing OCFS regulations, NECPA accreditation standards, CACFP requirements, payroll oversight, DSS coordination, and staff training and development.
Known for my transparent leadership style and commitment to professional growth, I prioritize building a positive center culture through clear communication, mentorship, accountability, and recognition of staff excellence. I am deeply committed to supporting families, empowering educators, and maintaining high-quality learning environments that promote child development and safety.
My professional background also includes business ownership, claims examination, and volunteer leadership with military family organizations, which brings a well-rounded perspective to my role.
