As children grow, interest in building skills for future success also grows, and Generations is committed to preparing children for their school years in the way they learn best – through play! The Highscope curriculum used in our classrooms is aligned with the NYS Prekindergarten foundation for the Common Core Learning Standards and ensures continuity with elementary grades. Research shows that children who participate in a quality early childhood program learn socialization skills through group activities, experience reading and writing readiness activities, are better prepared for school success, and are more likely to attain higher levels of education.
