Generations “Summer Adventure 4 Kids” provides a great way to learn new skills and experience exciting summer fun in a positive, nurturing environment. Each of our seven centers has age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play areas. We have special guests, events, and field trips throughout the summer.
Each week has a different theme:
Summer Breeze (June 25 – June 29)
This week of camp will include activities that welcome the relaxed, carefree days of summer (and no homework)! Kick off your shoes, put on your swimsuit, and celebrate the beginning of a fun-filled summer!
American Pride (July 2 – July 6) Closed July 4th
Red, White, and Blue! Let’s celebrate this wonderful country, from baseball and apple pie to the American flag flying high.
Ultimate Concoction (July 9 – July 13)
Let’s mix things up! Experiment, discover, invent, and even cook as you become a top-notch scientist this week. Make a volcano or your own lava lamp! Put on your lab coat and have fun with science.
Animal Kingdom (July 16 – July 20)
Where the Wild Things Are! Animals are everywhere, and we’ll travel near and far to discover more about them. Take a walk on the wild side with us and learn more about our fuzzy, scaly, and feathered friends.
American Idol (July 23 – July 27)
There is so much talent out there, and this is the week to show it off! From dance, piano, karate skills, and song – all are encouraged to find their talent and show off for families at the end of the week. Come and see who the “Generations’ Idol” will be!
Spectacular Sports (July 30 – Aug 3)
Name your favorite sport. Baseball? Soccer? Basketball? Play team and individual games and be entered into our book of records. Participate in fun activities that capitalize on the versatile Rochester sports community.
The Places You Will Go! (Aug 6 – Aug 10)
This week we will explore how transportation has changed our lives and culture. We will learn how traveling from place to place has changed what we know about others. We even experiment with making our own vehicles! Where will you go?
Krazy Kids Karnival (Aug 13 – Aug 17)
Back by popular demand! Games-prizes-food! Children design, build, and work this favorite annual carnival. The carnival and a picnic end this intergenerational week on a high note.
Hodge Podge (Aug 20 – Aug 24)
What are your favorite hobbies? Become the newest Emeril, garden like Martha, or paint like Picasso. You’ll never know what talents you can uncover until you try! Learn to be a “Top Chef” with special guest, Chef Cecilia!
Last Splash (Aug 27 – Aug 31)
Where did the time go? Join us for a wet and wild week as we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Plan on getting wet as we celebrate the last week of summer vacation.
