Generations offers a variety of school-age programs to meet the needs of today’s families at all of its program centers. School districts that Generations serves include Fairport, Irondequoit, Webster, Gates Chili, and Rochester (NY) City schools (including the City Charter Schools). Full day programming during school vacations and snow days is also available.
Before/After School Child Care:
We offer a relaxed setting to enable easy transitions at the beginning and end of the school day. Active indoor and outdoor play experience as well as art and music activities are available to the children. Time is available for homework with staff support and encouragement.
Generations also offers Wrap Around care for Kindergarten children. This program involves practice in working as a group and developing the social skills of teamwork and communication. Supporting activities involving “ABCs” and “123s” provide opportunities for children to learn language and numerical concepts. Structured play both inside and outside gives children additional experiences from which to learn and grow.
Vacation Club
Generations provides child care services during school vacations, holidays and snow days.
Summer Adventure for Kids
Every summer Generations offers several exciting weeks of day camp each with a different theme. School-age children enjoy numerous activities, including arts and crafts, science and math, computers, sports, group games, swimming, intergenerational activities, and many field trips. Ten weeks of fun and adventure will give your child a summer to remember.
Hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with Extended Care available before and after camp.
We have one goal, creating positive memories so that a child can say in later years “…remember in Summer Adventures when we made those great…”
Check back in February for the exciting themes and activities planned for the upcoming summer adventure!
