Our Gates Child Care Center first opened its doors in 1993 and moved to it’s current location in 2008. The center is not only spacious and open, and enjoys multiple outdoor spaces and playgrounds. The large outdoor space makes spending summers at this location exciting. Our

is particularly unique because in addition to child care, we have our elder care at this facility as well. Children can walk down the hall to visit with the grandmas and grandpas.

Lyn Ewell, Site Director
Lyn Ewell has been with Generations since 2004. Lyn came to Generations with previous experience as a Site Director and ample experience with children. Lyn holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and has also worked as a classroom teacher. Lyn has served as an administrator at Generations Stenson Street and Irondequoit locations before moving to the Gates facility. Under Lyn’s direction, the Gates center pursued and successfully achieved accreditation. Lyn’s focus on quality will ensure the Gates program meets the needs of all the families in care. Donna Delvecchio, Intergenerational Coordinator
Donna joined Generations after a long career in Nursing Homes and other senior care facilities. For over 8 years, Donna has planned and carried out the quality integenerational programming that happens regularly with Generations Elder Care program and the child care classrooms. Donna has responsibility for managing the day to day operations of the elder care program including working with families and seniors directly.
