Top Reasons to work at Generations
Achieve long term goals – Whether you are a high school student who is deciding on a career path, a college student needing internship credits towards an early childhood degree or someone who has previously worked in the child care industry, Generations has opportunities to help point you in the right direction. Generations believes in promoting from within. The majority of our director positions have been obtained by staff members that have started out in the classroom and worked their way up through hard work and dedication.
Obtain employee benefits – Generations understands that in today’s economy, finding affordable, quality healthcare can be a source of stress. It is important that as an employer it is our responsibility to care for our staff. We not only provide a comprehensive medical and dental plan, we also provide tuition reimbursement, 401K, vacation and sick pay. Employees who have children of their own are eligible for a child care discount.
Receive ongoing training – Three times a year, Generations closes early to offer their employees training. Topics in these seminars are discussed among the entire company to learn new and better ways to serve our employees as well as our families. In addition to these trainings, Generations offers ongoing small group and one on one training and support throughout the year to our teachers and staff to ensure that we are keeping up with our quality programming in each of our classrooms.
Pursue National CDA Credential! – As an accredited child care facility, Generations requires not only for our lead teachers to hold a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate), but we require our assistant teachers to have one as well. Individuals who do not have their CDA have the opportunity to receive it through Generations. Our Human Resources department secures the funding and sets up the classes based on your schedule and flexibility. All we ask you to do is contribute your TIME, EFFORT AND ENERGY!
